Perfect little white smiles 😁😁 Continuing our topic, this week we have been learning about dental hygiene. After grouping and identifying healthy and unhealthy foods, we explored the amounts of sugar that some food and drinks contain. We weighed the sugar, exploring the concepts of more and less, and discussed the reasoning and effects to support the children's understanding around the importance of tooth brushing 🪥 We then explored this through a fun project; using paints and recyclable materials, each child made their own teeth. We used black playdough to represent the sugar and plaque on our teeth, and visualised how brushing removes this and keeps teeth healthy. Each child took home a new tooth brush and toothpaste, and their fab projects to show off their learning at home this weekend 🦷👏
Pancake Day 🥞 Flour, eggs, milk, chocolate spread, & jam... For breakfast, lunch and dinner, our little bunch loved every bite 🥞🍋🫐🍯
